Three people including a woman got killed in Karachi due to firing of some unidentified persons; where as three more people including a couple got killed and one injured in traffic accidents.
According to the police, unidentified persons opened fire on a car near Jamshed Quarters due to which Shah Abdul Rasheed and Jameela got killed who were inside the car.
The police claims that both deceased are siblings; where as sources state that the woman killed is wife of a police official known as Waseem. Instability increased in the area after the occurrence of this incident and the relatives of the deceased also stopped media from coverage at the Civil Hospital. A thirty year old man known as Adnan Raza also got killed by the firing of unidentified persons on University Road. While on the other side, near the Hassan Square underpass, an unknown car hit a motorbike due to which the riders Khalid, his wife Beenish and 5 year old child got seriously injured. They were immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where Khalid and Beenish succumbed to their injuries. A speeding car hit a pedestrian on Mahi Kolachi road due to which he died at the spot. The police says that the deceased person has not been indentified so far.
