Quetta: Suicide Bomber Struck Rally; 35 Dead, Over 100 Injured

Quetta, Pakistan News: least 35 people have been killed while several others including mediamen got injured as a blast hit a rally being taken out in respect of Al-qudus Day in Quetta on Thursday.

Sources said that a powerful blast ripped through a
rally at Meezan Chowk, which was ensued by firing which is said to be continued. People started running in helter-skelter in wake of the blast. The injured include representatives of different media outlets who were there covering the rally. Law enforcement agencies cordon off the area while rescue teams started shifting the injured to nearby hospitals. Emergency has been declared in the hospitals. The rally, organized by Imamia Student Organisation (ISO), comprised around 2,500 people.
